The SMS used to provide a dedicated station for students in American Sign Language classes to film their tests, projects and presentations directly to the computer as a playable video file. Now, with the prevalence of recording software and tech throughout the studio students have their pick of which computer to use. 

Equipment

The multimedia stations in the SMS that are available to use for recording are the following:

• Audio Recording Booth (Mac) - uses built-in webcam
• Video Digitizing and Editing Suite (Win) - requires external webcam (available, just ask)
• Video Editing Suite (Mac) - uses built-in webcam

The Mac editing suite has a solid blue fabric that can be used as a backdrop if needed. Please see an SMS consultant for assistance.

• Kaltura Capture
• Quicktime Pro also available on Macs
