Assistance is available for copyright research and clearances for publications and other projects. It is not a legal service and cannot provide legal advice.

My role as Copyright and Scholarly Communication Librarian includes assisting students, faculty, and staff with informational questions related to copyright, including questions on fair use, duration of copyright, and registrations. I also assist with licensing questions, including Creative Commons licensing, as well as authors’ rights and self-archiving. I lead the Libraries’ work on Affordable Learning and Open Educational Resources (OER). I can provide an overview on copyright and related topics for your class related to your subject area.
