The Friends of the Libraries Legacy Scholarship Dinner is back and better than ever!

It’s the University Libraries third scholarship fundraiser event. Students enrolled in the School of Music and the School of Theatre and Dance take the stage in the Kent State Student Center Ballroom on Thursday, October 6, 2016, 6-9 pm. Please join us in celebration of this year’s recipients (4) of a $1,000 University Libraries Student Scholarship. In addition to performances from Musical Theatre, Jazz Studies, Piano Studies, and the Kent Dance Ensemble, you will enjoy a very special selection of hors d’oeuvres, a delicious served dinner, and an endless display of desserts. Dinner choices are: Potato Crusted Cod - A sweet filet of Cod seasoned with Key West spices and dill, topped with a rich, creamy lemon sauce, garnished with parsley and lemon slice. Fontina Chicken - A young chicken breast stuffed with sundried tomatoes and Fontina cheese dusted with a lightly seasoned flour baked to perfection. Eggplant Lasagna - Thin slices of Eggplant and Pasta layered with Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella and Ricotta Cheese. All entrees served with fresh seasonal vegetables and potato, rice or pasta, salad of mixed greens with choice of dressing, rolls, butter.
