Troubleshooting Course Reserves - Login Issues

Having problems logging in to Library Course Reserves through Canvas while using Safari?
The Safari browser has implemented cross site tracking prevention in a way that is requiring you to login to Library Course Reserves even though you're already logged in to Canvas.  If you are in Canvas and have clicked on Library Course Reserves but are then prompted to sign in, you have two options:

1. Login using your Kent State username and password.
   Example:  If your email address is jdoe [at] kent.edu, you would use "jdoe" and your password.  Note that this method would have to be used each time.  Also be aware that if you're using your browser's password manager to autocomplete your login for you, it's possible it will put your complete email address in the username field, and that you may need to edit it to be just your username.
2. Turn off "Prevent Cross Site Tracking" in Safari, but be aware that this affects all web pages you view.  (What is cross site tracking?)
