Historical Note: WNEO (45), along with WEAO (49), is one of a pair of Public Broadcasting Stations (PBS) operating under one 501 (c) (3) corporation called Northeastern Educational Television of Ohio (NETO). WNEO was established in 1971 (licensed to the city of Alliance to serve the Youngstown designated television market), followed by WEAO in 1975 (licensed to the city of Akron to serve the Cleveland/Akron/Canton designated television market). Programming of both WNEO and WEAO is simulcast. NETO is owned and operated by a consortium of Kent State, Akron, and Youngstown State Universities.
Scope and Content: This collection consists of program guides, publications and brochures produced by WNEO-TV, Channels 45 & 49 at Kent State University.
