Biography of Tom Kryss and Don Cauble

Tom Kryss, an author, artist and publisher, was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1948. Kryss published works for many writers involved in Cleveland's emerging poetry scene during the 1960's and continues to publish. Some of his own works include Sleep Like Yellow Thunder: Poems, In a Time Without Sunflowers, and Sketchbook. Kryss resides in Ravenna, Ohio.

Don Cauble is a writer who currently resides in Portland, Oregon. Some of his poetic works include Inside Out, Three on Fire and On the Backs of Seahorses' Eyes: Journey of a man Through Time. His first novel, This Passing World: Journey from a Greek Prison, was published in 2006.

Scope and Content

This collection consists of letters from writer Tom Kryss to fellow writer Don Cauble from 1967-1977. The letters discuss their professional relationship and friendship. During this time period, Don Cauble lived in Oregon, San Francisco and Greece and received these letters while Tom Kryss was living mainly in Cleveland, Ohio and was heavily involved with the Cleveland poetry scene.
