Biographical Note: P. Craig Russell, a native of Wellsville, Ohio, got involved with Marvel Comics while he was a student at the University of Cincinnati. After graduating, he moved to New York to work on standard superhero comics full time. As time went on, he branched out into more sophisticated forms of graphic art, adapting operas such as Parsifal and Salome for comic books. Russell also taught illustration at Kent State University.
Scope and Content: Included in this collection are comic books and graphic novels authored or partly authored by Russell, as well as periodicals containing either his artwork or articles about him. There are also several Russell items in the book collection which are cataloged in KentLINK (perform an author search for "russell p craig").
