This collection was compiled by the Department of Special Collections and Archives at Kent State University. It contains materials acquired by the Kent State University Libraries from a variety of organizations that reflect reactions to the Kent State shootings, and document inter-related activist movements in response to the Jackson State shootings, the Vietnam War, and the draft.
Scope and Content
This collection contains flyers, leaflets, pamphlets and other printed responses from both university and national organizations regarding the Kent State shootings and a host of related activist movements. There are open letters, flyers and brochures, newsletters, and press releases from organizations such as the ACLU, The Campus Crusade for Christ, and the Northwoods branch of the Kent Anarchists, among others.
