Scope and Content: This collection is comprised of small groups of records from Kent State University alumni that were sent to the archives. Material types include documents, photographs, scrapbooks, and some ephemera. Sometimes these records were sent by the alumnus, sometimes by family and friends, and sometimes provenance is unknown. As much as possible the material is related to the alumni's time and experiences while at Kent State or activities associated with Kent State post graduation; however, there are some materials that were collected that are related to the professional and personal lives of the alumni outside of Kent State. This collection does not include all alumni papers in our holdings, particularly those alumni collections that are larger in size or may be expecting accruals. 

Statement of Arrangement: The collection is arranged alphabetically by last name of the alumni. In instances where materials were donated under an alum's married name rather than maiden name, the married name was used for alphabetization, and the maiden name was retained after the first name to help ensure better search results.

Acquisition Information: The provenance and dates of acquisition vary from alumnus to alumnus. Many of these materials have very limited or no official donation documentation.
