Biography of Dennis Hearn
Dennis Hearn graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University in 1971. In addition to pursuing graduate work, Hearn performed in a number of Porthouse Theater productions and studied under drama instructor Uta Hagen after moving to New York. Currently, Hearn is continuing his work as an actor.
Scope and Content
This collection, donated by actor and Kent State University graduate, Dennis Hearn, is comprised of over 200 pieces of late 19th century and early to mid 20th century sheet music. The music in this collection is organized alphabetically by song title. The collection is separated further by size -- Large Format, approximately 12in. x 15in. and Modern Format, approximately 10in. x 15in. Alternative titles and additional languages are noted in the scope and content section of each song.
