Kent State University Libraries (UL) is not currently accepting recommendations for collection purchases due to our ongoing migration to a new Library Services Platform and a related technical freeze. New purchases during this time will be very limited. Migration to the new system is scheduled for June 2025. After migration, we will share a new method for letting UL know about your resource needs.
If you have a time-sensitive/immediate resource need, please contact Sean Kennedy, Collection Strategies Librarian, at skenne20 [at] kent.edu or 330-672-5000.
UL has other resource-related supports that will continue to be available to our users.
Interlibrary-loan (ILL) services may be able to connect you with information resources you are seeking.
Course reserve services are ready to assist faculty looking to utilize library resources in direct support of their courses.
Open access transformative agreements and the Open Access Publishing Fund remain available to KSU authors seeking support with article processing charges (APCs).
Need help with research? Having issues accessing resources? Want to talk to a librarian? We're here to help you navigate the library and find what you need. Please submit questions or concerns via our Ask Us webpage.
