Curbside Pickup
What is Curbside Pickup?
Curbside Pickup @ University Library allows you to check out materials via a contactless service at the Kent campus.
How does it work?
- Browse our KentLINK catalog and request your item(s).
- Choose Curbside as the pickup location when requesting.
- Staff will retrieve the item(s) then notify you via email when they are ready for pickup.
- Instructions for pickup at different Kent State locations will be included in the email notification.
- After notification, you will schedule a time to pickup your items.
- Upon arrival, staff will bring the materials out to your car for a contactless transaction.
What items can I request?
You can request items in Kent State University Libraries’ regular circulating collection. This includes many books and DVDs from our Kent campus, branch, and regional campus libraries. Additionally, items from OhioLINK and SearchOhio member libraries are also available.
Please note that reserve items and equipment are only available for in-person pickup.
How long will it take to get my items?
We aim to process requests as fast as possible. Requests for items at campuses other than your own will take time to transport from location to location as will items from branch locations (Architecture, Fashion, Map, and Performing Arts libraries).
