Attend a virtual conversation on data management plans
The Division of Research and Economic Development will host a virtual conversation on the importance of data management plans (DMPs) in contemporary scholarly research on Thursday, Feb. 22 at noon.
Join the conversation on Microsoft Teams. Registration is not necessary.
University Libraries' Data Librarian Michael Hawkins, who serves as the head of the Map Library and Community Geography Lab, will discuss the key elements of DMPs, including data organization, documentation, storage, and sharing, while addressing their role in promoting research integrity, reproducibility, and compliance with funding agency requirements. Through practical examples and guidelines, this presentation aims to empower scholars with the knowledge and tools necessary for effective data management practices.
