Biographical Note: American poet and writer Larry Eigner was born August 7, 1927 in Swampscott, Massachusetts, and died February 3, 1996. He published many small press books throughout his career, including: On my Eyes, 1960; Another Time in Fragments, 1967; Selected Poems, 1972; and Things Stirring Together or Far Away, 1974. Eigner's poetry was widely admired by other poets, including William Carlos Williams and Robert Duncan.
Scope and Content: This collection consists of several poems and letters written by Larry Eigner. Most poems are titled by their first line. Materials are arranged by date.
